4 of 4: Beyonf Story from Fragrance Port
(This is the last of the 4 post of today. I have so much to say, but so little time to post it on the week days. Please read on)

I called sai lou halfway thru the buffet, trying to tease him about my enjoyment, only to be put into greater anticipation of the happenings from his Hong Kong trip.

He started out with falling sick for the first two day. He think he is human torch, but the weather put it out real quick. Brother, it is Hong Kong spring, the worse season of the year!

Yes, lou ma zi follows, after eating too much seafood.

And hence, they were showered with care from Aunt Linda and gu ze.

The aunts brought the kid to find so much toys that they are lining up everywhere in the house now. I got those armour bots in my bunk from him too.

Due to the excessive 'income', he insisted they are gifts. Rare chance.

And yes, the aunts did not forget about me. I let obasan(jap: aunt, a special way to call Aunt Linda due to reasons I will explain later) tried my choco-coffee beans, and she gave me a box now. A real big can. hee hee... It is from this Japanese company called Royce

Other than that, obasan also did tremendou thing for lou ma zi. obasan bought lou ma zi a scarf, the very same day when she mentioned it.

Overall, obasan and Uncle Brian (the husband) are taking care of my grands nowadays. They replace the roles my uncles and lou ma zi should perform in their absence. If not because of this trip, I would still be in the dark of the care they shower my grands. (my grandma tends to make a big woo ha about the treats from them, indirectly hurting my uncles...)

I turly thank them. She did more than giving me the support I needed when I was in the pit, and the trip just for lou ma zi.

Hence, I must call her by a special name. Call her plainly 'aunt' don't seems to be enough to show the respect and gratitude for her.

The story of the trip might just end here, by my gratitude will live beyond that.

111 days is not the day the feeling will end...

3 of 4: 6 Star Sin
Last night, after a early weekend, I had the best buffet in my life, so far.

I went down to the 6 star Fullerton Hotel to enjoy a chocolate buffet with my comrades. Most of them attended, except one, who have quite serious family problem back home. He wasn't in the mood for enjoyment.

In the menu, everything chocolate.

Cakes, tiramisu, short cakes, fruit dips, melted choco drink...... The selection ain't really vast, but each servings I took is a sinful, heavenly exprience.

I had so much that I felt really bloated, and I was wide awake till late night.

While another comrade said his pee smell of choco, I leaked choco fart and burp...

The whole expriecne was bring to the supreme when we were entertained my live violin players, who by chance played a piece that sound like a new song from S.H.E.

Really sinful exprience...

111 days to go... (and I don't think I want to have such buffet in the days to come...)

2 of 4:duo gao yu
Back in camp, I was first hand-pick to support this testing of new evalution equipment for the armour vehicle I have been using for the past two years.

It consists of an emittor on the main gun, and a receiver on the turret. A well functioning product by Middle Earth (opps!)... I mean New Zealand. (Mixed up by the trilogy...)

And when I mean "support", all we did was to prep the vehicle, and wait for time to past by. This went for for 4 days, and disrupted my plan to apply for my Basic Driving Theory test, and my plan to collect my certificate for my Japanese Language Proficency Test (yes, I passed the test, despite flung my listening...)

Admist all these, my Company Sergeant Major decide to confine the majority of the camp, for a very nonsensical reason: they did not arrange the bunks to the Basic Military Training style when they were told to do so. The BMT doesn't start until... June.

He also expect my one-handed (as the other is in cast) comrade to move the furniture around!?

duo lang gao yu (canton: extra, said with adding private parts, to make it really very foul)

I hate these brainless people of the army.

And yes, I still have 111 days to go...

1 of 4: Silence
My last weekend was spent doing minor house work and playing on my PS2.

Then, I had a dinner with lou dao.

lou ma zi asked me to bring him go somewhere special, but I prefer let him rest more. We settled the meal at the coffee shop at the the new market near by.

We had close to zero words of exchange.

I had no idea what to talk to him about. It is either my lousy PC, small things in camp, and nothing else. Despite away from home most of the time, I could only find these insignificant topic to talk about.

I really missed the days when he had a little more free time, and we played strategy games together, or when we can crack a lot of jokes, or just enjoying each other's company.

The silence ick me. I feel guilty.

111 days and counting...

Other's Birthday
I am alone at home this week to come, as lou ma zi and sai lou went to Hong Kong to visit my folks. Alone at home, I not only play games on my dying PS2, but also sweep the floor, do the laundry and cook for myself. Hence, no time to change the motherboard of my new yet broke down PC.

But the past few days was great.

In camp, that left over had gone for his leave, and I can finally behave as myself once more. No more high alert of sabotage and all.

But most importantly, I celebrated one of my comrade's 21st birthday.

We got a small cake, sang the birthday song and do the usual stuff (less the army style celebration... you should know what i mean). I sort of spilled the beans, so the surprise ain't that big.

But as to why I leaked it, may be I was just too excited.

I had my 22nd birthday COS duty in camp, and failing my range on my 21st birthday. I could not really celebrate the most important birthday like others I know, and that make me a little upset.

Hence, I find solace and try to regain the joy in other's 21st birthday.

So, if anyone turning 21 this year, tell me about it and I will definately celebrate it for you (but don't expect me to pay for the whole cake or present... I'm no billionare...)

Sunshine
Yesterday's heavy down pour was quoted as the heaviest in 50 years, and sure it was. It started drizzling at about 0700, only to get heavier when it reaches afternoon. In the evening, it was a storm (only lack the thunder and lightning). Places near Chinatown were flooded, creating a lot of inconvenience to the Central Business District.

But the day is not a gloomy one for me.

Thanks to the down pour, the drains which I was in-charged to clean in camp is thoroughly cleaned. One less duty to perform in camp (^_^)

More over, I was forced to stay in camp due to the storm, hence saving money for transport. I also re-listened to all my Lord Of The Rings OST, as one of my comrade returned after burning all three. I even had a good talk with the rest of my comrade that stay back in the bunk.

And one last thing, after tomorrow, that fucking-hell-son-of-somebody-Indian-left-over known as Parsad (aka par-shit or blck market) in camp, will be going on leave, and complete his service in army. Even though that fucking-dysfunctional-big-fat-sow's son storeman will still be around, I can enjoy more peace from their nosiy Tamil undertable conversation that they try to back stab any single one they can lay their hand on. Totally dispisable.

What a sunshine after the rain... (^_^)

121 days and counting... (i just love sysmatrical numbers...)

Mishap
Quite a lousy weekend I have this week.

Had a guard duty with a over-reactive Duty Officer, that turn us, the guards, out at wee hours of the night, and still request we keep a proper bearing. Man, this silly little 2nd Lieutenant had just been posted to this camp, and he is talking about proper bearing to old-birds like us?? What the hack!

And due to this, I had very little sleep, losing all the strength back at home, sleeping for the whole day, only to wake up to attend a concert at Esplanade.

Yes, it was that Divine Jazz concert. The music was nice, as I always like fusion music. But my $20 seems quite wasted. I was seated at least 30m from the stage, and 10m from the ground. Whatever 'live' experience at the concert is really down to zero.

Back today, my PC was fine, only in the morning. After I removed the graphic card and replace it, the who PC cannot come to a stop! Totally no respond!!!

I can a few friends and comrades for help. The parts ain't properly connected, or worse, hard disk could be dead. Either way, the PC doesn't work... I screamed around in the house, and lou ma zi got real irritated by that. Got a lectured from her, and was instructed to send the machine to a nearby computer store, hoping that a more experience person can tell me what is wrong. This might not be as good as taking it back to the store I bought the new parts from, but at least it saves me worrying about it at home, or having to trouble friends. I do not really like to trouble others with my own stuff.

This include asking lou dao to give me a lift, but does an extra step by giving me return trip. I really should not had done so as he must be real tired after work...

In case you do not know, my PS2 have major problem with the games too, and I could not play with much ease either. Not to mention I just bought a new game...

AHHHHH someone help me, pleaseeee... Why am I having all these this weekend?

123 days and counting... (123 is the name of the author of the book I read recently, no joke...)

O Lord! Caught a Big One
After that small movie marathon, I watched another movie during nights off. It seems that I can't get enough of movies, especially so when that was the same day Oscar winners were annonced.

And yes, praise the LORD, the FELLOWSHIP that had TOWERed the boxoffice, is indeed the KING of the Oscar. Lord of the Ring won all the nominated awards.

Back to the movie.

I watched Big Fish. A not so typical Tim Burton film.

Yes, you get to see the usual reference to old works, like a breakfast machine that featured in his first movie, and a tool that resembles Edward's Scissors Hand's hand.

But it goes much further than that.

A father who always seems to be telling tall tales and a son who just could not stand it. The son only realise what the father had in mind all allong.

Yes, they are lies, but lies that make life fun. The father was a small town superstar, but ended up as a travelling sales man, making ue of his excellent inter-personal skill. But his life ain't very interesting. The day his son was born, he was out of town at work. He also got over involved in re-building a town that he had fond memories about.

He just want to make up for the lack of time with his child.

I think, every father feel like fishing a legendary fish when his first child is born. A Big Fish.
