Something Just Don't Change, Family-wise At Least
The highlight of this weekend is actually watching a very interesting documentary on History, Electric Dreams. Setting a UK family to go through 30 years of technological advancement at home, seeing how they react/relive all these changes (depending on the age group).

As years goes by, things we use today will somehow end up in the closet of time, that's the rule of technology. Icons of today, nobody of the future (and your kids will just ask "who the hell are those"). But without the past failure, there won't be the user-friendly (or sometime, dumb down) product we enjoy (being stupid) so much.

But something just don't change: family trust.

Yes, there is mobile phone today, and everyone is connected at all times, or is it not. Just switch it to silent, or give excuse you didn't hear it, you are as good as back to the 80's or early 90's. And as there is just more form of entertainment, the rooms of each people will still be the castle wall of self.

Something just won't change, you are how you handle your family, and your life.

Sorry
對不起, 妳愛上了一個不擅辭令的小男人.

對不起, 這一段我還沒習慣的距離讓我變得很憂心.

Reputation
Holding that little red passport gives you a lot of access to different country around the world, and this is not a bad feat from a country that resemble a little red dot on the map. Do you know some passport in the world needs visa for almost every country around the world?

But what is more important about being an independent Singaporean tourist, is the reputation we earn from hotels or hostels in many places. Remembering our Bangkok trip, simply stated that "we have problem of transfer money from Singapore" and all we needed to do was to send a few e-mails, and we've got our room waiting for us.

Same goes for just now, when I made a call to a hotel in Taiwan, asking for details for room booking. All they need from me is to register my personal details. (but due to the price of rooms available to us, I got to give it a pass...)

And how did we Singaporean earn that reputation? Thanks to the many pioneer independent traveler before us. If they were to behave like some rough tourist, the trouble we need to go though would have been tripled. It's not only a matter of international reputation, it's the reputation of being human in the modern society.

For now, I can only do so much to maintain the good reputation. Please, my fellow countryman, behave yourself.

Still So Blunt
How can I be smarter with my words. I'm always saying the wrong words in the wrong time. What have my social exprience taught me?

I'm sorry to you, I don't mean to hurt your mood at the wrong time. If you can't forgive me, no one will.

What Have I Done?

Something, some how, I dont know I need a place to write it down, I need to. Something is happening, indirectly related to me.

I feel vulnerable, totally. I cant give her the help she need now, when she need it most. What am I to do?

What have I done?
