It Take 1 to lead to 2

Having my lunch at Gloria Jean's after my interview with this Japanese job agency downtown. In the short 45 min or so, I was being asked about my interest for 2 positions in total, 2 of which overseas, and 2 locally.

And it all started after a sudden telephone call which I ended up speaking in Japanese for almost 20min, less than 6 hour after I applied for one of the local position the same morning yesterday. You really have to kowtow to their efficiency.

But that is after some real back-breaking experience on Monday night.

After back from some dumb-ass physical training, 7km of jog to be specific, I thought I could end my night by playing Shin Sangoku Musou Online (now that even sai lou is hooked onto, limiting my play time). While I was to start a new battle, a call came from the police, and it really freak the hell daylight out of me.

In essence, it was because an exchange student friend of mine who is doing intern here, was found KO from drink in front of the neighbourhood police station. Since my name start with 'A', I was the first name to be found on the phone, and was called to pick him up. Despite the fact I know nothing more than he live at the condominium near the train station, the police insisted I take care of him, so they can wash their hands off the matter.

Lesson 1 of the back-breaking night, some people are wasting our tax, big time.

Since my friend was fortunate enough to have me live near him, and more lucky was it that lou ma zi, asked sai lou to come along, he was spared from lying on the grass patch for the rest of the night. But that meant the unlucky brothers have to carry him for a distance of 500m or so, and he ain't that slim, you know...

Lucky for us, we met help, after covering 450m on our own. First, 2 kids came along to offer help, thought not too effective, they stayed till the very end of the matter of the night.

Also, we met a 'veteran' drinker who saw the 4 of us struggling with the 'load', and offer to help. A great help he was, as he knew just the right way to handle such situation. With his help, we managed to got him wake up and be conscious enough to recognise me, tell us which floor he stayed, and open the gate to let himself in.

Lesson 2 of the night, about the good Samaritan I met. Never depend on people of my same race. No matter how much I have prejudice against one of the other 2 groups of Singaporean, they are at least more willing to help, not for anything, but simply for the sake of helping others.

In a way, I have my not-so-intelligent friend to thank. Without this shit he led me into, I won't realise these 2 lessons in life.

Just like my interview at the agency today, when you occur with one event, chances are, something more will lead on, and it is just beyond what you can ever imagine.

You Are Trap by Only Yourself

I don't do a post using an anime normally, 'cos this ain't one of those otaku blog. But this is one interesting episode that will really bring you to ponder about something in life.

Sometime, we faces barrier, but is it really one? Who set it? It's you yourself who is blocking your own way. If you just take the plunge, you would have been freed already.

But frankly, even after I spent my words explaining, how many of you will see that in this episode?

It depends on how you want to see it then.

What Will You Say

Imagine, you are to be gone in the next month, what will you say to the world?

Here is one:

No death, no grieve, just lessons to living the most out of your dreams. How many of you out there can do so?

To my family, this is very real. lou ma zi has breast cancer, this will mean anyone else in the family are just susceptible to having this as the end of the road.

But what is more important is not how you live the last burst of life, but rather how you see it, in the heart.

What will you be saying when that time come?

Always Never

There is something that is always this way, and never the other way, especially in every In-Camp Training for National Service.

Some people always get things done on time, while some people never move their butt even to the last minute.

Those people you are always with, will never mix with those you just can't stand yourself.

There is always a better solution, but it will never be used.

It's always good to catch up with my comrades, but never you see them too often.

There's always lousy food, and I never ever will put a 'OK' on the survey.

There's something you always want to get it off your shoulder, but it just never make itself easy for you to do so.

In the next 7 years more, there is something that will always never change.

diu....
