Happily Ever After?
Very inproductive Sunday.

Went out to see Night Watch, a trilogy that is going to be big. But trust me, ain't for the faint hearted, both graphically and plot. A perfect treat for gothic fans, with a down to earth touch. The fight scene is simple, as how 'nice' fights are really is in real life.

On reaching home, watched pirated version of DVD version of Seven Swords. Not too disappointing to my standard as I stated in earlier post, but I found that the film is too much of everything. Too much background story need to be patch up by the proposed comic and game franchise.

And finally back in hall, I just managed to finish one of my upcoming tutorial, while staring blank at another 1, 'cos I skipped the lecture of that course last Friday, 'cos sushi making course.

And not to mentioned I had not done my revision for the quiz this coming Thursday.

Admist all these, I saw a PV by Jpop band Mr Children. In this video, the whole setting is how a couple that were meant to be together, always gave each other a miss among the mono-tone life they have (people moving around in stop frame, and repetive frames).

Finally, when they found each other, their world break down, and they fled off in to a new world of endless green.

But how real is this?

Quite impossible.

Living in a modern life like we all do, feeling unproductive due to enjoying myself, feeling totally relaxed is not being pessimestic at all, even when you have found yourself a partner in life.

We are bound in the eternal cycle of fighting for every breadth to move on in life.

Happilly ever after? Try attain more Rapid Eye Movement in yout sleep...

i.e. in your dreams.

Getting It Done
The most troublesome event of this year from my club is finally over, sushi making course is finally over.

I should say, the level of work this time round is less than that of last year, when I was a sub-commer. This year, everything, almost, is provided by Sushi Tei, the only better quality sushi chain in Singapore (but the price... ahem...). All I needed is to bring tables from one place to the event venue, and back again, my job is done. All this must thanks to the business manager this year, who is also the driver of the lorry that do all the transportation.

But more importantly, is that I have a more than capable assitant. I won't say I am as capable as him, and I make it up with experience in the club last year. While trying hard to upkeep the new found courtship with the club's finacial controller, and piling school works, he was more than willing to help me in whatever ways I needed it.

But when I came back, I read the most important e-mail I need to read this year. The school is changing the hostel placement system in my 4th year.

In another words, what ever points I had gain from my clubs, etc, will still be useful next year, yet, I need not worry so much when I go on oversea exhange or attachment next year.

But for me, I join these clubs more of passion. I never join things I don't like to do in the first place.

Getting the things done is my primary objective. The points earn is rather secondary.

Whatever Things
No specific idea about this post, just some thoughts, and update the blog a bit.

Seen somewhere wrote, blogs should be just collection of interesting day to day event. I hope I had done a good enough job, other than those rants posts...

While the 1 week break is coming to an end, I realise it had became just a break. I had not been so-called productive. I did not even watch a single movie at the cinema, and that means I gave Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a miss.

Instead I downloaded a Korean movie, Innocent Steps. A ballroom dancing love story it is, but I watched more for the female lead Moon Guen-young, a very, very cute girl-actress. But I really have to say, the leads can really dance. Other than looking at Guen-young, it was the dance sequences that caught my eyes. You know, Korean movies and drama is always so dramtic... the storyline is good but not like whoa... It's just heartwarming entertainment.

Ok, other than slacking at home, especially so for the untimely spoilage of my PS2, I went out to have a hair cut at my usual salon in Orchard, got myself a new school bag, finally. I had been sourcing for 1 since May. I actually found 1 in Hong Kong, but due to miscommunication over the phone with lou ma zi, I had to wait till only yesterday, when I found a similar one. It's a backpack/handbag hybrid, that is big enough for laptop and tons of books. Paying a little more, I found what I need finally after a 4 month nag hunt.

So, while slacking some more tomorrow, packing the CDs I had burn from the O-camp for the friends that had helped me during the camp, I shall motiviate myself to do a little more tutorial, while racking my brain a little more as to the preparation to sushi making course, and plan my route of advance as to how to get to Ikea and then to East Coast on Sunday for one of my comrades' birthday.

My Type of Hall Life
To me, hostel life is quite different from most locals.

When you are so busy with other stuff in school, be it study, friends, or ECA, etc, if you go back hall and still being haunted by fellow hall residents, I feel this is really commiting suicide.

Active (yet dumb-dumb) hall residents may tell you that hall activities is part and partial of campus life. Closer to exam time, everyone will study hard. Don't be so no life, can?

My answer for them: fuck you. Unless you are super-genius, trust me, you can never fucking score well if you fucking study at the last moment. Burning the notes and drink it down may help you though, chee bai.

No matter why so many fifth year student stay in hall.

I am not trying to be anti-social, but there is a practical need for for some peace and quiet in hostel. With so-called friends jumping at you here and then, say good bye to your Hon. Degree.

Proper interaction in hall should be being plain considerate, and not being a anal-rententive by celebrating some fucker's birthday at say, 1am!?

And this goes to not chop open a coconut and leave them for the ants to clean up the place for you. We know how efficient ants work already, no need demo, chee bai.

In short: give me a peaceful and civil-minded neighbourhood.

In another words: fucking shut up and use your fucking brain please!!!
