Fight It Out
My best friend in my secondary days came over for some sparring practice with me today, to teach me how to win any squirmish I might just get in foreign land.

The training programme is simple. Conditioning, free spar, technique.

In another words, sore body after the 3 hours session.

Whether I got my punches and stance right is secondary, more important, is how to keep your mind in the right functioning condition dispite all the adreanline rushing up and down.

Hit with the wrong stance, depend on too much brute force, you hurt yourself more than the opponent.

When trouble comes, you need to fight it out. But, fight with your brain, not adreanline, and live longer this way.

No Asian in Wrold Cup This Year
After the round of 32, the 16 that moved on are out.

Some familiar faces, bascially the all-time favourites. There's also some new faces, like the Oz, the Ghana, etc.

But, NO Asian team made it thru to the round of 16.

Even Korea was 1 point short...

sigh... The only Asian faces left on the field now is our referee who is still giving reds like crazy... how comforting for our Asian pride.

Let's Make Fun of World Cup
Yes, I am a fans of World Cup, but a part-time one. My max fever is watching 2 3am matches, out of the 2 weeks. I won't have watch it if not it's playing Espana, which sai lou can't watch as he in camp.

But as any year, World Cup is still quite of of shit. How can it not be, when it's initial is W.C.

Japan's goal keeper, after taking the PK shot from Croatia, can suddenly qiu-leng (Hokkien: hands loose strength) and drop the ball he was holding when it was pass back to him from the defender...

But the biggest joke so far, is still us, the Singaporean.

Yes, we are not in the tournament as player, but we have meet of target, right before 2010.

We have a refree that is giving 1 red each tournament, without fail.

Not the best joke to tell, but me writing a post like this is really a joke on it's own already.

Caffine High
My all-time favourite Coffee Beans & Tea Leaves has this new recepie to all their coffee-based ice-blended drinks. They call it, extreme, 2x the shot, 2x the caffine content.

The amount of coffee normally in a cup is not too intimidating actually, but when you have yours at around 3 in the afternoon, plus you are sensitive to caffine, this spell trouble.

Honestly, the taste is quite good, only damaged by the choco, as it ain't Goldiva, and so a little sharp on the throat.

However, the result is devastating.

For the 1st time in a long time, I did not nap on my train ride home.

Back home, I got exceptionally high... cracking dumb jokes, laughing at dumb stuff. Maybe it's also because I got a cheap bargin for my anti-virus program and microphone.

Right now, after a little drunk effect after drinking some white wine during dinner, I have strong feeling I need not sleep at all tonight.

Good, just what I need to stay through to 2am to watch MTV Japan Music Award tonight.

But what if I still feel awake after that?

(^_^!!! good luck to myself... maybe a can of Lowenbrau may do the job...

Investment Return
Finish my job contract at Robinson this year. They were asking me to extend it... NO WAY.

I won't say it's a bad place to work at. It's the customers that eiks me.

Trust me, with this kind of customer, forget about service standard.

One want to refund all her purchase, so she can buy again and enjoy a 15% discount.

There also those who take advantage of the smallest mistake we have on the signage, but I don't see any richer than me.

The truely rich are really nice people.

One fact about Robinson's future: downward. It's new boss is a guy who have work with Mark & Spencer for 13 years. Mind you, M&S standard in UK: NTUC Fairprice.

Robinson's was like THE PLACE back then. Those were the days, and that was why I am quite willing to work there. But next time, I will think a little more...

What I learnt from being a more human customer? Quite a lot, but I really doubt it's have been a postive education...

But I can say, this is a great investment of my time, and there have really been some good return.

Not Right Now
I had a dinner date after work today at Holland V. The food is interesting, but not worth mentioning here. The ambience is good, very suitable for all the ground seated Sngaporean.

But I have got something quite good in return.

I realise who I think is my Miss Right is not considering me as her Mr Right.

And I am not sad about it at all.

It's a reminder for me, I can't force thing to happen, especially when we have only 3 proper meal date only. The 100's of hours of MSN chat is really nothing.

Quoting from her blog, To change is the only way to change, To accept and nothing will change.

May be time will tell, may be I will meet my true Miss Right.

But not right now...

What Do I Get So Far?
Working for the last week, 4 weeks, and seen tons of people from around the world.

The race which I hated most is still the most difficult group.

The newly rich is another, and have always been irritating.

The race the rest is seeing as a threat, can actually the most tolerance people in the world also.

Some men are just embrassment themselves, shouting at their wife in public.

Some women, are really pain in the ass, and being their husband really have a hard time clearing their ears.

The old are wise, but what that is irritating in them, remain irritating.

Some problems will not be solved in the frontline, unless it is shoot up to the very top.

And some flaw just won't be solved, 'cos the people who created the flaw uses the flaws.

What you think is private side of your life, you will show it in your work place also.

Too many things, too tired, and it will just slip off your mind, and that's why this post is so fragmented...
