Indispensible Authority
Other than receiving a gigantic favour from the hospitality shown by my good friend in Jinan, there is a more important lesson in life to learn.

Being a government official, my friend's father have something very useful called authority, or in actual words: 特权.

With this, all road tolls are free; I got to enter government bodies in the night to see some of the best scenary and architecture in Jinan; I got to stay in hotel that only offcial personal can stay in, at much lower price; I near not worry for my return train ticket back to Beijing.

However, what is more important is what it can get, but how to use it.

With a more humble background, my friend's parents went through a lot of hardship to be what they are today. They understand fully what they hold in the hand, and they never show it off.

Instead, they nuture my friend to be the most responsible citizen, who have grown up to one of the most righteous and open-minded person I have seen so far.

Yes, authority is something you can benefit a lot from, but there is a great respnisbility that goes with it.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, for teaching me such an important lesson in life. I owe you a lot.

Ain't Going be Mine...Still?
After spending two whole days with the gal from Chengdu, I feel more she ain't the right one for me, or is it?

Travelling around the places of interest with her seems of the most tiring things to do in the whole duration. She wore heels to the Fobidden City, which means she ain't quite catching up or willing to walk too much, and rant a little more after that; she wore slipper to Yi He Yuan today, which got wet and was complaining to me for the 1st part of the day.

Yet, I like the very time that I was just sitting there during the little rest here and there, and she seems to be more than just relieved from the sore feet of hers ( i hoped so...); she was tired, but went on to go out with me for 2nd day today, on top that she have THAT problem this week (or is she just want to travel around for herself); she enjoyed her cup of cofee at Starbucks, so do I (or she just like coffee).

And, she will not let me take photo with her... not to mention closing in to her even hwere the situation requires...

Or am I not taking up the chance as well, like today, she asked if I want to accompanied her home on the bus that she was to take?

Or am I, still thinking... too much...

Think about where to go during National Day week is going to be more constructive for you, idiot.

Blind and Brainless
(Though I can't see the blog myself, I still can write things here, so I will write more personal thingy here, such as gossip, swearing, etc)

Say I am jealous, say I am narrow-minded, but I think some couples I know from this GIP group of people are really quite reckless in terms of doing things for their other half.

Got one couple, where the female counterpart have difficulty in finding accomadation, the male counterpart actually fly over from Shanghai for 2 days to "help things out"... But what can he help? He is also new to China, and he all he can do is give physical, moral support to the other half. I mean, When people are in courtship, does this kind of mindless gesture really become so touching?

There's another one, the boyfriend was involved in the previous batch of GIP, so to say, 1/2 year away from the girlfriend, who is now in Beijing also. What happen is that, the boyfriend decide to extend his stay here, way over the rental contract, to spend some time together. And why is it my concern? It is possible that his boyfriend may get so thick-skinned, that he might want to move over to my place, as it's near the girlfriend, and trust me, I am not the one who speculated this sort of things, for the first time. I have known couples that have separated for 1 year, and still lovey-dovey as anytime before.

Also, the girlfriend of this couple, who arrived early, also have went out to travel around with the boyfriend during the past 2 weekends, disregarding the fact that she need to register herself to the local police station, even when the landlady is offering to drive the people in her house there. If she delay any longer, no matter how strong the landlady have in terms of connection, she will face great trouble during her visa extension, or worse still, considered as illegal stay in China.

Gossip aside...

Anyway, I do have some nice things for myself, too. My good friend from Chengdu is coming over to Beijing next week. In another words, I will be travelling around with her for next Sat and Sun. \(^0^)/ I will travel alone with her, leaving my GIP people behind for 1 weekend. It shouldn't be too bad, yah, as there still another 20 more weeks together mah...

Guess I am as brainless and blind when comes to those thing afterall.

See You Later
(This will be my last post before I go off to Beijing. As blogspot is ban in China's Internet, I will use the following instead: http://wing0a.spaces.msn.com/. However, it will only take shape in later days...)

For the past few days, I have been going out with friends, good friends, and best friends alike.

It's a time for catch up, a time to foster the bond that we have even further. Be it in KTV, or inside the car on the way home, every words brings us closer to one and other. But all and all, it's time well spent on, and I've got more than I bargain for.

On other sprecturm, it's a time of mending up, to find ways to patch up some of the missing link that once connected us. Walk along, get to know other's hobby better, and appreciate the person.

All and all, the next time I start posting anything here, it will be after my 25th birthday, after I have see the real world once more.

See You Later...
